The transfer is arranged by the hotel and takes approximately 35 minutes from Male International Airport.

The aircraft used for seaplane operation are De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter Aircraft, and it is designed for water landing and as such their flying times are restricted to daylight hours by the Aviation Authority of the Maldives.

The international flight needs to arrive in Male before 15:00 and If your international flight departs from Male before 9:00, you may have to leave the resort the night before in order to be able to connect with your international flight.

The resort is approximately 35 minutes from Velana International Airport.

Although there is likely to be a certain waiting time until your seaplane departure, we endeavor to facilitate the shortest interval possible.

Rest assured though that Madifushi team will be on hand to host you in the comfort of seaplane lounge with food and beverages on offer until your seaplane boarding time.

Flight schedules are finalized by the seaplane operator one day prior to the arrival date and are not within the resort’s control.

If a special rate is secured, all inclusions, meal plans, and offerings will be at the sole discretion of the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to modify, adjust, or withdraw any inclusions, benefits, or services associated with the rate at any time without prior notice.

Fantastic

We truly enjoyed the privacy the resort provided, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to our butler, Martini, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. The Fun Club added so much excitement to our experience, even helping us arrange a wonderful dolphin encounter. Special thanks as well to the amazing staff at Fahrenheit Restaurant and Mojito Bar for their outstanding service. We deeply appreciate everyone who took care of all our needs and made our stay truly unforgettable.

Great vacation!

The resort is outstanding and beautiful. Green island with amazing sunsets. Service is great and food is good. Our manager was Sacha. She did a good job! Was lovely to have her and 24/7 she was available for us when we needed some help. I recommend to swim with dolphins and visit their SPA and ride the bicycles. Also, I would recommend Jena master for yoga sunset, very relaxing.

A great holiday at a new resort

- The villa really was excellent and true to the photos. Given how much you use your room in the Maldives, for us the quality and size of the rooms were by far the best feature of the resort and a key attraction -The dive center, Spa and Yoga (Jena was great) we all really enjoyed - we had a great experience at each and excellent service -The attitude of the staff was nearly all overwhemingly friendly and a pleasure to deal with -The airport staff and transfer experience was actually really well executed

-F&B is incredibly expensive, so go with your eyes open. We went B&B and whilst the food was good, the service and atmosphere at the Bluefin/buffet restaurant was a little hit and miss - if the resort had another more intimate restaurant in addition to Farenheit that would help a lot. Based on the good atmosphere, service and setting we could accept the prices at Farenheit, but we felt the buffet restaurant experience was quite far below the standard you would expect for the prices being charged. - The resort is 1 year old, and whilst generally all the staff were very friendly and willing to help, the service was too often a bit reactive and not pro-active. You really noticed this in some of the F&B settings and the patchy daily information as to any activities going on at the resort - it just felt a little disorganised in places. However, the positive attitude and friendliness of staff generally made up for things... These should be pretty easy improvement points, so hopefully as the resort matures they will sort this. Despite the niggles, in such a beautiful setting and with such nice villas we had a great time.

heaven on earth

we had a magical few days really the words cannot explain how wounderfull these days were. hands down one of the best trip ever we got the water villa with full board the food were amazing definitly you will find something you like our assestant ( Ms martiny) was very helfull she made our trip 100 times easier she made sure all our need were met we tried the massage, facial and menidcure at the spa and all were nice and relaxing different water sport that you can try I had my 29th birthday there and it was the best birthday ever this place was realy heaven on earth

Beautiful beach, outstanding villas, and even better staff

It was an excellent overall experience. The villas were specious, modern, and new as shown in the photos. We tried both beach and water villas, we liked the beach villa more. Villa 812 is ideal for privacy. The restaurants were both excellent. Blue Fin had both buffet and a la cart options. Fahrenheit had a la cart option. The manager Omer was very helpful and our supported Mo was excellent.

It is true that food is expensive as mentioned in some angry reviews but this is to be expected in Maldives resorts. To give you perspective, the lunch buffet is ~65 USD and the dinner buffet is around 100 USD. A la cart can range from 80 to 200+ for a couple of people.

Restaurants are very limited. In case you don’t want to eat in buffer restaurant everyday (the same place where you have breakfast) your choice is limited to Fahrenheit restaurant.

I had really high expectations from the reviews. I believe that this resort is hugely overpriced for what it offers. I was in Maldives before and for less money you get better options For a 5 star hotel. The NYE event was a shame, although the food was good. Expensive, but good

A truly amazing resort 10/10

The hotel is truly exceptional, we loved every minute of it. Big thanks to Kamal, our housekeeper and Martini and Ali who works at the Bluefin restaurant. They made our trip even better with their kindness and warmth. The food was amazing, there is a lot of choice and the dinner buffet changes every single day so you never get bored. The staff is incredibly nice, they are always smiling and saying hello to you when you pass them. The room was beautiful as well, the bed if comfy and there is nothing I would change. There are limited amount of bikes on the island, so you need to be quick in the morning to get one. The island is gorgeous, there are loads of palm trees and vegetation, it is very green. Also, the resort is only 2 years old which means that it is still new and the guests hadn’t worn it down yet. I would stay here again in the future, we had an amazing time.

There is not much marine wildlife around the island. We only saw a couple of sharks at night, fishes and a couple or stingrays. This isn’t the resorts fault but it is something we missed a little bit.

Extremely quiet and felt very private, staff were excellent and catered to all our needs and were very friendly and generous. Shout out to our housekeeper Aboo also, leaving us with lovely bed displays and making beautiful baths for my partner. All of the staff were impeccable from bringing us fresh mango delivered that morning, on our final breakfast to personable chats at dinner, always checking in on us and our stay. Some fun activities such as movie night and mixology classes. The dive centre and their staff were also fantastic, great fun and would definitely come back. Our first stay in the Maldives are hard to fault, went beyond our expectations.

Honey mooners, look no further

My wife and I shared our honeymoon at this location. It was a dream come true. Facilities were absolutely top notch. The facility is only set up to accommodate about 70 couples, with four resteraunts throughout the island, there's loads of choice. We loved how the entire resort was cleaned everyday. You could see every morning, thats if you got up early enough, you would see staff raking and cleaning the beaches to look like you were the very first person who ever stepped on this island. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, to each other and the guests. Special shout out goes to mention ALI who worked in the BlueFin resteraunt and was always ultra friendly and would greet us with smiles and gentle conversation everyday. He knew what we liked and made sure we were looked after. Excellent attention to detail. We would love to stay there again but we feel that we would like to see more of Maldives in a different light We may stay in a beach villa on another island in the next year or two, We will be back!...

Everything is beautiful - villas, main pool area, beach. The staff are very nice. The dive center is extremely well equipped. The food is good.

A magical and unforgettable stay! My girlfriend and I spent six absolutely wonderful days at this hotel, and every moment was pure bliss. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and kindness, which immediately made us feel at ease. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was perfect for a truly pleasant stay. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Kamal, Adhil, and Lynn, who truly made our experience unforgettable. Their attentiveness, kindness, and thoughtful gestures, especially for my girlfriend's birthday, made all the difference and made this moment even more special. They ensured we felt truly unique, and their professionalism and warmth really touched us. The location of the hotel is ideal, and the activities offered were varied and perfectly suited to all tastes. It was such a pleasure to discover and enjoy everything that was on offer. We are not the type to return to the same place twice, but this hotel is an exception. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. You won't be disappointed!

Property was incredibly beautiful, well planned and serene. Water and island were pristine. Views are breathtaking. Staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, helpful and inviting. Food was excellent with a wide variety of options. Chef’s were very accommodating to individual preferences. Fun water activities with great staff to guide you. I want to start straight from coming to Maldives. Airport: They greet you with a huge smile at the airport, help to gather your luggages for the seaplane. As soon as we arrived at the hotel another lovely greeting with necklaces, coconut drinks and a unbelievable view. Hotel: There is a lovely pool and lovely beach that you can swim, take pictures, enjoy the moment, and quiet relaxing holiday. Unfortunately it was rainy a bit when we were there but they have a pool table, gym and other thibgs to do indoors aswell. The staff were UNBELIEVABLE! Everyone was full of positivity, doing the best they could to help you feel welcome and we want to specially thanks Daniel as he was so helpful with everything and even made us a suprise on our last day for our meal. Another special thanks for Mr Ömer as throughout our stay he was very kind as well as caring, did so much for us and asked about our thoughts aswell. Rooms: As a person that pays so much attention to cleanliness I would give this hotel 10/10!!! Rooms were cleaned twice a day, the rooms are spacious, they have a glass that you can see the marine life, everything is provided in the rooms and another staff member called Mo, also made a little suprise of bubble bath while we were there for our honeymoon. The pool in our room wqs very clean, very nice view, had direct entrance to the ocean aswell. Having coffee to that view is unbelievable. Food: the open buffet had various options and everything was delicious however I would also advice to EVERYONE to definitely try the fahrenheit restaurant as the food and environment there was a completely different story. Hot stone grill, having food in sandy environment, delicious desserts and big congrats to the chef with everything! Activities: There were a lot activities to do but our favourite and most unique one was sunset fishing, watching the lovely sunset and catching maldivian style fishing also then EATING the fish you catch was so good!

Everything was absolutely brilliant, only thing that could be added is live music during the day/night but I’m also afraid if they do that then no-one might ever want to leave!

Everything I loved everything about it especially the staff , nimsadh made the best of the best drinks and his customer service was the best of the best , I would also like to mention Ahmad he was the kindest and the best when helping us he helped me find my wife’s phone , and I want to thank martini for helping us and being our butler during our honeymoon. The resort is very very clean , customer service 1000/10, food was amazing , drinks vibes was the best this place is a must go. I would have loved to stay longer thank you for having us . I would have loved to stay longer . Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you again I want to also thank kamal for the beautiful customer service and for keeping our room tidy and clean best house keeping staff are soooo friendly . The island itself is a slice of paradise—immaculate white sand beaches, vibrant turquoise waters, and lush tropical greenery. It felt like we had our own private haven, perfect for a romantic escape. We stayed in an overwater villa that was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the ocean right at our doorstep and having our own infinity pool made every moment unforgettable. The villa was always impeccably cleaned, thanks to our amazing friend Chatura. He not only ensured everything was spotless but went above and beyond to make our stay special by creating beautiful towel art every day.
