The transfer is arranged by the hotel and takes approximately 35 minutes from Male International Airport.

The aircraft used for seaplane operation are De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter Aircraft, and it is designed for water landing and as such their flying times are restricted to daylight hours by the Aviation Authority of the Maldives.

The international flight needs to arrive in Male before 15:00 and If your international flight departs from Male before 9:00, you may have to leave the resort the night before in order to be able to connect with your international flight.

The resort is approximately 35 minutes from Velana International Airport.

Although there is likely to be a certain waiting time until your seaplane departure, we endeavor to facilitate the shortest interval possible.

Rest assured though that Madifushi team will be on hand to host you in the comfort of seaplane lounge with food and beverages on offer until your seaplane boarding time.

Flight schedules are finalized by the seaplane operator one day prior to the arrival date and are not within the resort’s control.

If a special rate is secured, all inclusions, meal plans, and offerings will be at the sole discretion of the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to modify, adjust, or withdraw any inclusions, benefits, or services associated with the rate at any time without prior notice.

Mandatory charges, including but not limited to Christmas and New Year Gala Dinners, will be applicable as per the resort’s policy, regardless of the rate booked. All meal charges, inclusions, and pricing are subject to the resort’s terms and conditions.

Fantastic
We truly enjoyed the privacy the resort provided, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to our butler, Martini, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. The Fun Club added so much excitement to our experience, even helping us arrange a wonderful dolphin encounter. Special thanks as well to the amazing staff at Fahrenheit Restaurant and Mojito Bar for their outstanding service. We deeply appreciate everyone who took care of all our needs and made our stay truly unforgettable.

From the moment we set foot on the island, we were surrounded by luxury, breathtaking beauty, and unparalleled service. The island itself is a slice of paradise—immaculate white sand beaches, vibrant turquoise waters, and lush tropical greenery. It felt like we had our own private haven, perfect for a romantic escape. We stayed in an overwater villa that was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the ocean right at our doorstep and having our own infinity pool made every moment unforgettable. The villa was always impeccably cleaned, thanks to our amazing friend Chatura. He not only ensured everything was spotless but went above and beyond to make our stay special by creating beautiful towel art every day. His creative designs, whether it was swans, hearts, or other intricate creations, made our experience truly unique. He was always so friendly, attentive, and kind, and we felt incredibly well cared for. Another standout was Anal, who ensured all of our activities were perfectly planned. Whether it was arranging a dolphin tour, jetski, funtube, a la carte restaurants, booking spa treatments, or bringing us to any spot on the island with the buggy whenever we needed, Anal’s service was flawless. He was thoughtful, proactive, and always responded quickly—day or night. His warm and helpful attitude made everything so much easier and added to the overall relaxation of our stay. The staff at Madifushi, including Chatura and Anal, made our honeymoon truly special with their warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. We felt not just like guests but like valued friends. Madifushi Private Island exceeded all of our expectations and gave us memories that will last a lifetime. « Un Hôtel qui n’est pas encore à la hauteur du standing affiché »
- La beauté de l’île et ses eaux turquoises. - La villa sur Pilotis est spacieuse et moderne. Nous étions coté sunset avec une vue a couper le souffle. - L’activité snorkeling incluse dans le séjour. - La mise à disposition des équipements type Kayak, paddle, palmes/masques/tubas. - La gentillesse d’une partie du personnel. Mention particulière à Pauline et Jadhulla de la partie restauration et Shakhawat qui a su rendre notre séjour spécial avec de petites attentions dans la préparation de notre chambre tous les jours.
- Nous avons précisé plusieurs fois à l’équipe du management qu’il s’agit de notre lune de miel mais aucune attention particulière ou personnalisation n’a été faite à notre séjour, dommage… - La gestion des vélos est catastrophique. Ils n’ont pas assez de vélos pour le nombre de villas et en tant que client vous vous retrouvez à devoir « chasser » les vélos et les « cacher » pour ne pas vous retrouver à pieds. Ça n’a aucun sens. - Le team management n’est pas spécialement aidant dans le déroulé du séjour. Aucune indication sur les différentes choses, à explorer faire autour de l’île. - Les tarifs du room service sont très élevés et pas en accord avec la qualité des plats. De même pour le Splash bar. - Les produits de salle de bain devraient être en accord avec le lieu: crème solaire, après soleil etc - Les parties communes sont assez froides et sans vie. Le bluefish (restaurant principal) ressemble plutôt à une cantine qu’un restaurant de resort 5* même si la nourriture y est très bonne. En résumé : l’hôtel bénéficie du cadre extraordinaire et exceptionnel des Maldives mais n’est pas à la hauteur du standing attendu/espéré.

Everything I loved everything about it especially the staff , nimsadh made the best of the best drinks and his customer service was the best of the best , I would also like to mention Ahmad he was the kindest and the best when helping us he helped me find my wife’s phone , and I want to thank martini for helping us and being our butler during our honeymoon. The resort is very very clean , customer service 1000/10, food was amazing , drinks vibes was the best this place is a must go. I would have loved to stay longer thank you for having us . I would have loved to stay longer . Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you again I want to also thank kamal for the beautiful customer service and for keeping our room tidy and clean best house keeping staff are soooo friendly . This is the place to go to feel like you’re in paradise , ps passion fruit mojito from nimsadh is the absolute bomb ️️️ from Nouri
