The transfer is arranged by the hotel and takes approximately 35 minutes from Male International Airport.

The aircraft used for seaplane operation are De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter Aircraft, and it is designed for water landing and as such their flying times are restricted to daylight hours by the Aviation Authority of the Maldives.

The international flight needs to arrive in Male before 15:00 and If your international flight departs from Male before 9:00, you may have to leave the resort the night before in order to be able to connect with your international flight.

The resort is approximately 35 minutes from Velana International Airport.

Although there is likely to be a certain waiting time until your seaplane departure, we endeavor to facilitate the shortest interval possible.

Rest assured though that Madifushi team will be on hand to host you in the comfort of seaplane lounge with food and beverages on offer until your seaplane boarding time.

Flight schedules are finalized by the seaplane operator one day prior to the arrival date and are not within the resort’s control.

If a special rate is secured, all inclusions, meal plans, and offerings will be at the sole discretion of the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to modify, adjust, or withdraw any inclusions, benefits, or services associated with the rate at any time without prior notice.

Mandatory charges, including but not limited to Christmas and New Year Gala Dinners, will be applicable as per the resort’s policy, regardless of the rate booked. All meal charges, inclusions, and pricing are subject to the resort’s terms and conditions.

We truly enjoyed the privacy the resort provided, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to our butler, Martini, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. The Fun Club added so much excitement to our experience, even helping us arrange a wonderful dolphin encounter. Special thanks as well to the amazing staff at Fahrenheit Restaurant and Mojito Bar for their outstanding service. We deeply appreciate everyone who took care of all our needs and made our stay truly unforgettable.

we had a magical few days really the words cannot explain how wounderfull these days were. hands down one of the best trip ever we got the water villa with full board the food were amazing definitly you will find something you like our assestant ( Ms martiny) was very helfull she made our trip 100 times easier she made sure all our need were met we tried the massage, facial and menidcure at the spa and all were nice and relaxing different water sport that you can try I had my 29th birthday there and it was the best birthday ever this place was realy heaven on earth

Everything I loved everything about it especially the staff , nimsadh made the best of the best drinks and his customer service was the best of the best , I would also like to mention Ahmad he was the kindest and the best when helping us he helped me find my wife’s phone , and I want to thank martini for helping us and being our butler during our honeymoon. The resort is very very clean , customer service 1000/10, food was amazing , drinks vibes was the best this place is a must go. I would have loved to stay longer thank you for having us . I would have loved to stay longer . Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you again I want to also thank kamal for the beautiful customer service and for keeping our room tidy and clean best house keeping staff are soooo friendly . Établissement fabuleux avec un personnel exceptionnel. Je tiens à remercier tout le personnel qui ont su nous donné ce voyage le plus agréable possible. Un grand Merci à Adhil qui a été au petit soin pour nous à chaque demande faite très généreux et très serviable. Merci beaucoup à Martini aussi pour sa gentillesse et ses services. Très disponible à chaque fois qu’on avait besoin d’elle et très arrangeante pour nous faciliter lors de notre voyage. Merci à rubel pour la propreté de la chambre 2 fois par jour qui fais parti du confort aussi. La nourriture est incroyable il y a de tout pour tout le monde. Les massages sont exceptionnels. J’espère à l’avenir pouvoir revenir à cette hôtel car c’est juste magnifique et qu’on est réellement coupé du monde

Honey mooners, look no further

My wife and I shared our honeymoon at this location. It was a dream come true. Facilities were absolutely top notch. The facility is only set up to accommodate about 70 couples, with four resteraunts throughout the island, there's loads of choice. We loved how the entire resort was cleaned everyday. You could see every morning, thats if you got up early enough, you would see staff raking and cleaning the beaches to look like you were the very first person who ever stepped on this island. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, to each other and the guests. Special shout out goes to mention ALI who worked in the BlueFin resteraunt and was always ultra friendly and would greet us with smiles and gentle conversation everyday. He knew what we liked and made sure we were looked after. Excellent attention to detail. We would love to stay there again but we feel that we would like to see more of Maldives in a different light We may stay in a beach villa on another island in the next year or two, We will be back!...

« Hôtellerie TOP mais restauration très moyenne. »

La villa sur pilotis au-dessus du lagon, avec terrasse et piscine privative, est vraiment magnifique. Le centre de plongée est très bien équipé, et offre des expériences uniques.

Le restaurant principal ressemble à une cantine d’aéroport, et le restaurant exclusif est hors de prix pour une cuisine très moyenne. Il n’y a aucune vie nocturne.

« Un Hôtel qui n’est pas encore à la hauteur du standing affiché »

- La beauté de l’île et ses eaux turquoises. - La villa sur Pilotis est spacieuse et moderne. Nous étions coté sunset avec une vue a couper le souffle. - L’activité snorkeling incluse dans le séjour. - La mise à disposition des équipements type Kayak, paddle, palmes/masques/tubas. - La gentillesse d’une partie du personnel. Mention particulière à Pauline et Jadhulla de la partie restauration et Shakhawat qui a su rendre notre séjour spécial avec de petites attentions dans la préparation de notre chambre tous les jours.

- Nous avons précisé plusieurs fois à l’équipe du management qu’il s’agit de notre lune de miel mais aucune attention particulière ou personnalisation n’a été faite à notre séjour, dommage… - La gestion des vélos est catastrophique. Ils n’ont pas assez de vélos pour le nombre de villas et en tant que client vous vous retrouvez à devoir « chasser » les vélos et les « cacher » pour ne pas vous retrouver à pieds. Ça n’a aucun sens. - Le team management n’est pas spécialement aidant dans le déroulé du séjour. Aucune indication sur les différentes choses, à explorer faire autour de l’île. - Les tarifs du room service sont très élevés et pas en accord avec la qualité des plats. De même pour le Splash bar. - Les produits de salle de bain devraient être en accord avec le lieu: crème solaire, après soleil etc - Les parties communes sont assez froides et sans vie. Le bluefish (restaurant principal) ressemble plutôt à une cantine qu’un restaurant de resort 5* même si la nourriture y est très bonne. En résumé : l’hôtel bénéficie du cadre extraordinaire et exceptionnel des Maldives mais n’est pas à la hauteur du standing attendu/espéré.

From the moment we set foot on the island, we were surrounded by luxury, breathtaking beauty, and unparalleled service. The island itself is a slice of paradise—immaculate white sand beaches, vibrant turquoise waters, and lush tropical greenery. It felt like we had our own private haven, perfect for a romantic escape. We stayed in an overwater villa that was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the ocean right at our doorstep and having our own infinity pool made every moment unforgettable. The villa was always impeccably cleaned, thanks to our amazing friend Chatura. He not only ensured everything was spotless but went above and beyond to make our stay special by creating beautiful towel art every day. His creative designs, whether it was swans, hearts, or other intricate creations, made our experience truly unique. He was always so friendly, attentive, and kind, and we felt incredibly well cared for. Another standout was Anal, who ensured all of our activities were perfectly planned. Whether it was arranging a dolphin tour, jetski, funtube, a la carte restaurants, booking spa treatments, or bringing us to any spot on the island with the buggy whenever we needed, Anal’s service was flawless. He was thoughtful, proactive, and always responded quickly—day or night. His warm and helpful attitude made everything so much easier and added to the overall relaxation of our stay. The staff at Madifushi, including Chatura and Anal, made our honeymoon truly special with their warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. We felt not just like guests but like valued friends. Madifushi Private Island exceeded all of our expectations and gave us memories that will last a lifetime. A truly amazing resort 10/10

The hotel is truly exceptional, we loved every minute of it. Big thanks to Kamal, our housekeeper and Martini and Ali who works at the Bluefin restaurant. They made our trip even better with their kindness and warmth. The food was amazing, there is a lot of choice and the dinner buffet changes every single day so you never get bored. The staff is incredibly nice, they are always smiling and saying hello to you when you pass them. The room was beautiful as well, the bed if comfy and there is nothing I would change. There are limited amount of bikes on the island, so you need to be quick in the morning to get one. The island is gorgeous, there are loads of palm trees and vegetation, it is very green. Also, the resort is only 2 years old which means that it is still new and the guests hadn’t worn it down yet. I would stay here again in the future, we had an amazing time.

There is not much marine wildlife around the island. We only saw a couple of sharks at night, fishes and a couple or stingrays. This isn’t the resorts fault but it is something we missed a little bit.

A magical and unforgettable stay! My girlfriend and I spent six absolutely wonderful days at this hotel, and every moment was pure bliss. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and kindness, which immediately made us feel at ease. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was perfect for a truly pleasant stay. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Kamal, Adhil, and Lynn, who truly made our experience unforgettable. Their attentiveness, kindness, and thoughtful gestures, especially for my girlfriend's birthday, made all the difference and made this moment even more special. They ensured we felt truly unique, and their professionalism and warmth really touched us. The location of the hotel is ideal, and the activities offered were varied and perfectly suited to all tastes. It was such a pleasure to discover and enjoy everything that was on offer. We are not the type to return to the same place twice, but this hotel is an exception. « Magique ! »

L'accueil du personnel, très chaleureux, très à l'écoute ! Les infrastructures sont top (salle de sport bien équipée, billard, ping pong, tennis...) Repas (petit déjeuner et dîner) incroyables avec beaucoup de choix. Le restaurant Fahrenheit est exquis. Chambre magnifique, belle décoration. Tranquillité du lieu Transfert avec l'aéroport bien organisé. Service de chambre efficace (mais pourraient remettre un peu en place le mobilier) Sortie en snorkeling très sympa où nous avons vu des raies manta et bien organisée.

Plutôt des suggestions mais rien de négatif sur notre séjour : - FAIRE ATTENTION aux horaires en hydravion au risque de devoir faire une nuit sur Malé !! Renseignez vous bien avant !! - il pourrait y avoir plus de vélo à disposition - manque du café Nespresso dans les chambres - pas bcp de choix de thé tisane dans le bar de la chambre - un peu dommage de voir des vélos couchés devant les portes des bungalows, pas très photogénique.

Extremely quiet and felt very private, staff were excellent and catered to all our needs and were very friendly and generous. Shout out to our housekeeper Aboo also, leaving us with lovely bed displays and making beautiful baths for my partner. All of the staff were impeccable from bringing us fresh mango delivered that morning, on our final breakfast to personable chats at dinner, always checking in on us and our stay. Some fun activities such as movie night and mixology classes. The dive centre and their staff were also fantastic, great fun and would definitely come back. Our first stay in the Maldives are hard to fault, went beyond our expectations.
